Layered jade, turquoise blue, bronze brown, and violet-gold—these colors are not in the paintbox, but alive with light within the texture of the feather tips; with a gentle tilt of angle and the fall of light, the greenness transitions from deep tarn green to imperial blue, while a stroke of violet-gold is like the twilight haze. This rare piece of natural feather captures and freezes the multi-colored brilliance beyond the reach of a paintbrush; amidst the intertwining of light and shadow, the bluish-green and violet-gold flow freely, and every single moment is a spontaneous harmony of colors distilled by Nature over millions of years.
