The name “TerraVista” comes from “observingthe natural plains, and observing the essence of freedom and origin.” The origin of this name began with a long contemplation of a pieceof stone texture. It feels as if one is looking down from the clouds, where thevast land slowly unfolds within the field of vision, fully visible andcompletely in sight: deep and light shades of green resemble rivers and lakeson the earth, quietly winding; warm yellow represents continuous mountains andplains; and the orange-red that appears unintentionally resembles the mostauthentic pulse deep within the earth. This magnificent composition is notcarved by human hands, but is a poem jointly formed by time and the earth—they blend into each other without clear boundaries, just likenature itself: both vast and calm.
Design Inspiration
When the gaze is lifted to a higherperspective, the world becomes open and expansive, and all things can be seenat once. At that moment, one becomes aware of their own insignificance, andthus gains a profound sense of inner peace. It is this feeling that led us tochoose this stone texture as the dial. What it presents is not a specificlandscape, but nature in its most magnificent and complete form—reflecting both the outer origin of nature and the inner origin ofthe self.
Because natural stone is used, each “Terra Vista” dial is unique. Some are rich in green, like rivers flowing across the land; some are warm in yellow and red, like the sunset over vast wilderness. The proportion of colors cannot be controlled and is entirely determined by the nature of the stone itself. Because of this unpredictability, each dial cannot be replicated. It is a one-of-a-kind poem written by nature.
